Roadmap
Where Zmina is headed.
Zmina ships as a complete, on-device macOS app: Smart Paste, clipboard history, no account or telemetry. This page is what comes next. It is direction, not dates. Your license covers every future update at no cost, including new platforms. Add-ons are optional and bought separately. There is no paid v2 and no subscription on the core app.
Free updates
Free with the app you own
Covered by your license at no extra cost, whenever each one ships.
- More actions Planned
More actions in Smart Paste, and probably more types Zmina detects.
- Windows Exploring
Built on Tauri, so it can follow without a rewrite. Not in development yet.
- Plugin support Exploring
Your own detectors for types Zmina does not cover yet, and your own paste actions. A documented format, local files you can read and edit, not a marketplace.
- Your own categories Exploring
Categories you define on top of the types Zmina detects, so History groups the way you work.
- Notes on saved items Exploring
Write a note on anything in History, and search your notes along with the content.
Linux is a possibility further out. Nothing promised.
Optional
Add-ons, if you want them
Separate, optional purchases. The core app is complete without any of them.
- Image tools Planned
Crop, resize, annotate, and OCR for clipboard images.
- Local AI actions Planned
On-device inference. No API keys, no provider list, no outbound traffic.
- Cloud sync Exploring
Encrypted cross-machine history. The one piece with real server costs, so subscription only.
The changelog and its RSS feed cover every release, so you can see when something ships, with no email required.
